Samuel Irvin Avey , Aged 30 years, Ringgold Street, died Monday evening of consumption, after an illness of 3 years. He was aged 30 years, 4 months and 7 days. He was a son of Samuel Avey, Ringgold Street, and was born and reared in Tomstown.
He was employed in the blacksmith shop of the Geiser Mfg. Co. and later in the Landis Tool Works.
He is survived by his father, widow Mrs. Annie Avey, and these brothers, John and Harry, Ringgold
Street, and Charles, Tomstown.

Interment at Green Hill Cemetery.
