Betty L. Shambarger Wolff, Aug. 5, 1926 - Aug. 22, 1993, Betty Lou SHAMBARGER WOLFF, 67, 423 W. Third St., died at 12:50 a.m. Sunday at the Barrett Road home of her sister, Pauline HENRICK. She had been in failing health for 2 1/2 months. Born in Rochester to Fay and Theresa BICKEL RUSSELL, she was a lifetime resident of this community. On Sept. 22, 1984 in Rochester she married Gerald Wayne WOLFF, who died March 1, 1988. She retired from Marshall Electric in 1991. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Surviving are a daugter, Judy SWEANY, Rochester a son, Steven SHAMBARGER, Rochester; three grandchildren, Theresa JACKSON, Craig SHAMBARGER, Brian SWEANY all of Rochester two great-grandchildren, Jayme and Kyle JACKSON, Rochester; a sister, Pauline HENRICKS and several nieces and nephews. Preceding in death was a sister, Mildred McCONKEY. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Foster & Good Funeral Home with Dr. Sam WRIGHT officiating. Burial wil be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday and after 9 a.m. Tuesday. Memorials may be made to the Hearthstone Community Hospice.
