Mildred McConkey
Mildred McCONKEY, 75, of 117 W. 18th St., died Saturday at 10:55 p.m. in Woodlawn Hospital. She had been ill for several days.
She was born Nov. 8, 1911 in Rochester to Courney Fay and Theresa BRICKEL RUSSELL and had lived here her entire life. She was married on Jan. 2, 1938 in South Bend to Carl L. McCONKEY, who died Aug. 29, 1969.
Surviving are a son, Larry McCONKEY, Rochester; two grandchildren, Shad and Crystal McCONKEY, both of Indianapolis, and two sisters, Mrs. Carl Pat (Pauline) HENRICKS, Rochester, and Mrs. Jerry (Betty) WOLFF, Rochester.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Zimmerman Brothers Funeral Home, Rochester, with the Rev. Teal YOUNCE officiating. Burial will be in the Rochester I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday, and on Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Diabetes Foundation.
