Mrs. Mildred I. Ronan, 95, of Marysville, died Friday, April 7, 2000 in Marwood Nursing Home after a brief illness. She was born October 2, 1904 in Ohio to the late Homer and Loretta (Thompson) Wright.
Mrs. Ronan was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church where she served as a Eucharistic Minister and member of the Alter Society. She was a member of the Daughter's of the American Revolution, enjoyed playing bingo and working with ceramics.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Mr. & Mrs. William (Margaret) Gerlach of Marysville; twelve grandchildren; thirty-one great grandchildren; twelve great great grandchildren; a sister, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon (Madeline) (sic) France; a brother, Mr. and Mrs. Doyle (Mary) Wright, all of Indiana; and a son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Franz (Lillian) Gerlach of Port Huron.
She was preceded in death by her two husbands, Gustav Gerlach and Frederick Ronan; a daughter Joy T. Parks; a son, David Gerlach; a granddaughter, Terry Ann Robertson; and a brother, Wallace Wright.
The Mass of Resurrection was held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 10, 2000 in St. Mary Catholic Church, Port Huron. The Reverend Stanley A. Wyczawski officiated.
The Rite of Committal followed at Mt. Hope Cemetery. Pallbearers were Ton Ganley, Mark McVey, Mike Gelach, Jim B. Ganley, James W. Ganley and Jim Parks. [Taken from Randall Parks Funeral Home visitation obituary card].
