Giles Edward Pittenger died at his home in Auburn township last Saturday night, aged 33 years, 6 months and 22 days. The funeral services were held at Five Points church, Elder J. A. Sweet officiating, and the remains were interred in Auburn cemetery. Ed married Miss Lillie, daughter of T. J. Armstrong in 1888. She and two children survive him. He had been a member of the Christian church over six years. He was a son of Abe Pittenger and wife of Marshall. He was a member of the Modern Woodmen and held a $2,000 policy in that order. The Camp at Auburn had charge of the funeral services.
