Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday for J. H. Van Ness, 87, 513 Camden St., an Iowa native and resident of San Antonio for 28 years, who died Friday in a local hospital.

Services will be held at the Zizik-Kearnes funeral home and burial will be in San Fernando Cemetery.

Four daughters, Mrs. Louis Schneidermeyer, Mrs. Florence Smits, Mrs. W. J. Graf and Mrs. R. C. Schultz, survive. Other survivors inclde sons, J. L. Van Ness and John Van Ness; sisters, Mrs. U. S. Reeves, Mrs. Lucy Racobs and Miss Mary Van Ness.
