RANVILLE, HOMER A. - age 57, died Wednsday, Jan. 9.1946, at the residence, 313 Prospect. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. Deceased will be at Dodds-Dumanios Co. Funeral Home. Death was caused by a short illness. He was born in Cheboygan, Michigan, Sept. 30,1888 and had lived in Flint for the last 28 years, coming from Cheboygan. He was a member of the St. Michael's Catholic Church and Holy Name Society.He was a barber at the Checker Barbershop.

Surviving are: Wife,Mrs. Ellen V. Ranville; 3 sons, Marcel Ranville, Michigan, Pfc. Donald Ranville of China and Cpl. Devere Ranville of Ft. Bragg, N.C.; 2 daughters, Miss Elaine Ranville at home; P.T.C. Jeanette Ranville of Guilford, England; 5 brothers, Arthur of Cheboygan, Mich., Francis and Albert of Flint, Joseph of Houston, Texas, Russell and Theo of Cheboygan, Mich., 2 sisters, Mrs. Anna O'Grady and Miss Phoebe Ranville of Cheboygan; 3 grandchildren.
