Glen LeRoy Bawden (5/06/1920-8/12/2007). Glen is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Rose "Aileen" Harris. They were sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple September 12, 1945. He is also preceded in death by parents, William Orson Bawden and Mary Ellen Barker, and six siblings. He is survived by his sister LaVee Cannon; two daughters, Nona (Stephen) Williams and Ronda (Donell) Adair; 15 grandchildren and 31 1/2 great grandchildren. Glen was a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather who always cared for his immediate and extended family. Glen was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints who had an unwavering testimony of our Savior, and touched the lives of all around him by sharing it. Glen loved his harmonica and Segway. He died in the home of his granddaughter surrounded by his family and loved ones. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 18, 2007, at 12 noon at the West Valley 1st Ward, 3963 Peachwood Drive (3480 West). The family will receive friends at a visitation Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 West 4100 South; and one hour prior to the services Saturday at the ward.
