Mrs. Anderson's Rites Tuesday
Funeral services for Mrs. Stella C. Anderson, 82,303 W. Third St., Red Oak, will be Tuesday, Jan. 11, at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Emerson, with the Rev. Richard Person officiating, and burial in Farm Creek Cemetery, Henderson.
Arrangements are by Sellergren-Lindell Funeral Home.
Mrs. Anderson, who had been a resident of Good Samaritan Center, died Saturday, Jan 8, at Murphy Memorial Hospital. She had lived most of her life in the Emerson and Red Oak communities and moved here in 1958.
The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Nims, she was born Jan 4, 1890, at Emerson and was married in 1936 to Carl Emil Anderson who died in 1970.
Surviving are a son, Alfred of Emerson, brother, Art Nims of Emerson, sister Mrs. Althea Norton of Emerson; three grandchildren.
Elva was a member of First Baptist Church, Emerson.
