Amelia Bradford

Funeral for Amelia Bradford, 75, of Trinity, will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home with the Rev. Neal Culberson officiating.

Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Bradford died Thursday, Dec. 20, 2001, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born Dec. 28, 1925, in Lawrence County, to Claude Jackson Lamon and Velma Sheats Lamon. She was retired as a teacher from Priceville and West Morgan elementary schools. She was a homemaker and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the Joy Class and the United Methodist Women. Mrs. Bradford was the sister of the late Robert Dennis "Dee" Lamon, Minor Earl Lamon, Albert Frank Lamon and Guy Sheats Lamon.

Survivors include her husband, Rice Keith Bradford; two sons, Dennis Keith "Bobby" Bradford and William Charles "Bill" Bradford, both of Trinity; one daughter, Anita Diane Bradford of Muscle Shoals; two brothers, Fred Pellom Lamon of Rogersville and James "Doc" Lamon of Huntsville; two sisters, Claudine "Crick" Bradley of Fairhope and Verna White of Moulton; and four grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Deverl Lamon, Shane White, Phillip Bradley, G.S. Parker, Rodney Hale and Edward Leonard.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Valley.
