Funeral for Albert Frank Lamon, 73, of Trinity will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Parkway Funeral Home with Jerry Hood and Tommy Bolan officiating.
Burial will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday from noon to 2 at the funeral home.
Mr. Lamon died Wednesday, January 29, 1997, at Decatur General Hospital. He was born September 6, 1923, in Lawrence County to Claude and Velma Lamon. He was a retired farmer and carpenter, a veteran of World War II and a member of Mount View Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Anna Lamon; three sons, Deverl Lamon and Randall Lamon; both of Trinity, and Farrel Lamon of Decatur; two daughters, Ruth Murphree of Columbiana and Lois Allen of Trintiy; four brothers, Earl Lamon of Colorado Springs, Colo, Fred P. Lamon of Trinity, James B. Lamon of Brewton and Guy S. Lamon of Birmingham; three sisters, Amelia Bradford of Trinity, Claudean Bradley of Foley and Verna White of Moulton; 10 grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
Grandsons will be pallbearers.
Memorials may be made to Mount View Baptist Building Fund or Hospice.
