This lot features 6 monuments:
INSCRIPTIONS
1) The principal column, badly eroded.
---Front: The name CABLE is inscribed on the base. Above it is an illegible inscription for "Charles."
---Left side: The name ABEEL is inscribed on the base. Above it is an illegible inscription for "Our Mother, Abby Abeel."
---Rear: The name EVELETH is inscribed on the base. Above it is an illegible inscription in which only the name "Ralph C" can be discerned. No Ralph Eveleth appears in the cemetery's online burial database, but a "Francis Eveleth" is buried here, and there is a footstone inscribed "FANNY" just behind the column.
---Right: It is not possible to determine if there ever was an inscription on this side of the monument.

Left foreground: UNCLE; LEFT of column: MOTHER, and FANNY
5-6) A recently erected Arlington-style military stone to mark the grave of Effingham W. Marsh, whose badly eroded original stone is just inches in front of the newer stone, making BOTH stones difficult to read or photograph. The newer one is inscribed:
Effingham W. Marsh / 2d Lieut / Co A / 145 NY INF / Co F / 5 NY INF / Civil War / 1833 / 1898 /Wounded Second Bull Run.
