ROCKTON - Hazel Anna Patterson, 93, of Rockton, Ill., died Sat. Aug, 30, 1997 at St. Anthony's Hospital in Rockford.
She was born in Chicago on June 12, 1904 to Andrew and Selma (Selund) Olson. She married Ray Patterson in Rockton on June 12, 1923. She was a beloved homemaker and dearly enjoyed her family.
Survivors include four children, Pauline (Wilbert) Wiedner, Darien, Ill., Richard (Jan) Patterson, Ashton, Ill., Carol (Wayne) Schmidt, Lake Summerset, Ill., Russell (Anita) Patterson, Rockton; son-in-law, Cliff Huffman, Winnebago, Ill.; 21 grandchildren; 45 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ray in 1983, two daughters, Joyce Huffman, Arlene Bartlett; two grandchildren, Barry Patterson, and Diane Moore; two great grandchildren; three brothers, Gordan, Harry, and Roy; three sisters, Ethel, Della, and Lillian.
She was a member of Hope Evangelical Free Church in Roscoe, and Royal Neighbors of America.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Sept. 4, 1997 at 1 p.m. at Hope Evangelical Free Church in Roscoe, with Rev. David Wiersbe officiating. Burial will be in the Rockton Cemetery, Friends may visit on Wedneday, Sept. 3 from 6-8 p.m. at the Bifulk Funeral Home in Rockton, Ill.
