MISS MARGARET J. BENDER
Miss Margaret Josephine Bender, 89, of 401 Cumberland Street, died this morning in Sacred Heart Hospital where she had been admitted April 1.
Born in Cumberland March 19, 1874, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Nelda (Reinhard) Bender.
She was a member of the SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, and the Third Order of St. Francis. She was also a member of the SS. Peter and Paul Choir for 50 years.
She is survived by a sister; Mrs. Mary McNamee, Cumberland, and two brothers; Andrew G. Bender and Alpheus F. Bender, both of Cumberland.
The body is at the George Funeral Home, where friends will be received tomorrow and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
