The daughter of Bernard John "Barney" Hillen and Anna "Annie" Balke, Estelle married Leo Schleeper on 29 Nov 1941 in Meppen, Calhoun County, Illinois. They were the parents of 5 children.

Estelle was a postal clerk in Brussels, and Leo was a farmer.

At the time of her death at Jersey Community Hospital, Estelle was 76 years, 7 months and 26 days old.

She was survived by her husband, Leo; 3 daughters, (Living) Fortschneider of Brussels, (Living) Cudahy of Chicago, Illinois, and (Living) Schleeper of Alton; 2 sons, Toby Schleeper of Rockford, Illinois, and Leo B. Schleeper of Brussels; 12 grandchildren; and 1 brother, Clem Hillen of Meppen.

Visitation was held on 27 Nov 1987 at Hanks Funeral Home in Brussels. A prayer service took place there at 7 p.m. A funeral Mass was conducted at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Brussels at 10 a.m. the following morning.

Estelle's husband, Leo, passed away in 1988 and was buried next to her.

Children: 3 daughters, 2 sons.
