Obituary of Catherine Caroline Salanky Rehm
Mrs. Catherine (Salanky) Rehm, 93, resident of St. Joseph, MO, passed away Thursday, October 7, 1999, at a local health care center.
Mrs. Rehm worked at W. T. Grant Co, Montgomers Wards and worked in the business office of St. Joseph's Sister's Hospital, retiring in 1972.
She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Tom & Helen Rehm, St. Joseph, MO, and a daughter, Sister Patricia A. Rehm, D.C., Kansas City, MO. Two brothers, George Salanky & Felix Salanky; 5 grandchildren, Charlie Rehm, Linda Karleskint, Julie Moran, Mike Rehm & Stacy Stevens and seven great-grandchildren.
She married Tony A. Rehm in 1932 and he passed away in 1972. She was also preceded in death by her parents, John & Margaret (Lutz) Salanky; 4 sisters, Anne Walsch, Caroline Gartland, Magdalen Salanky and Marion Hummer; three brothers, John Salanky, Nick Salanky and Adam Salanky.
Mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday 9:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
Visitation will be after 9:00 A.M. Friday at Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel where the family will receive friends from 6-8 P.M. and a parish rosary at 7:00 P.M. The family has requested memorials to be made to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
