Otto Lewis Lloyd, 75, Roosevelt, died Friday at his home after a long illness. He was the father of a Springville man, Garn Lloyd.
He was born Nov. 7 1895 in Panguitch, a son of William Monroe and Christina Jacobsen Lloyd. He married Zelma Eliza Day on Oct. 2, 1920 in Duchesne, and their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
Mr. Lloyd was a retired farmer and former employee of the Roosevelt movie theater and Hanson Creamery in Roosevelt. He served 17 years as superintendent of the Ioka LDS ward.
Surviving are his widow; three sons and a daughter, Doyle Lloyd of Roosevelt; Howard Lloyd of Logan; Garn Lloyd of Springville; and Mrs. James (Delores) Zobell of Ioka; 25 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Tuesday noon in the Roosevelt LDS Ward chapel. Firends may call at Olpin Mortuary, Roosevelt, Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday prior to services. Burial will be in the Ioka Cemetery.
