Dolores Lloyd Zobell, age 100, of Ioka, passed away Aug 6, 2022, at the home she and her husband built 75 years ago.
She was born on October 31, 1921, in Upalco, to Otto Lewis and Zelma Eliza Day Lloyd. She married James Edwin Zobell on September 14, 1940, in Ioka. They were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on May 22, 1952. James passed away on December 4, 2000.
Dolores was a very hard worker and very scheduled. She was known for her garden, her baking and cooking skills, and her fantastic sewing abilities – she could make anything and often did for many people in the community. She had an immaculate house and was able to get her nine children up and going every day by herself because James was always working. She has seen a lot change in her 100 years of life.
