Addie Bowman Wade, 79, of Morgantown died Sunday, Oct. 29, 1995, at Greenview Hospital in Bowling Green. She was born in Cumberland County; was a teacher in the Butler County school system for 30 years before retirement; and was a member of First United Methodist Church, the Susannah Wesley Sunday School Class and the Butler County Retired Teachers Association. She was a cryptographist for the Pentagon during World War II.

Survivors include a son, Robert "Bobby" Bowman Wade of Morgantown.
