Wayman Rites To Be Saturday Afternoon
Mother of Four Local People Dies Thursday Afternoon at Medora
Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth Wayman, age eighty-four, widely-known Medora resident, will be conducted Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock from Medora Pilgrim Holiness Church, with the Rev. Raymond Street, pastor, in charge of the services.
Burial will be in the Heighten Hill Cemetery. In ill health for some time, she died Thursday afternoon at 3 o'clock.
Friends may call at the home in Medora at any time.
Born and reared in Jackson County she has spent nearly all her life in the vicinity of Medora. She was born on April 6, 1857, the daughter of the late James and Permilda Wineinger. On June 24, 1873, she was married to George W. Wayman who died in 1936.
She was a member of the Pilgrim Holiness Church at Medora. Well-liked and respected, she leaves a wide circle of friends to mourn her death.
She is survived by six children, Curtis M. Wayman, of Medora; Mrs. L. N. Brower, Mrs. J. H. Bartlett, William *Bartlett and Mrs. Frank Roemmel, all of Seymour, and Mrs. B. F. Beeler, of Martinsvile, VA. Seventeen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren also survive.

Obituary
Mrs. Elizabeth Wayman, age 84 years, died at her home in Medora Thursday afternoon at 3:45 o'clock. Death was due to complicaqtions with which she had been ill a year.
Funeral services were conducted at the Pilgrim Holiness Church, of which she was a member, Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock with the Rev. Raymond Street pastor, officiating. Burial in the Heighton Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Wayman was the daughter of the late James and Permilda Wineinger and was born in Jackson County April 6, 1867, and spent nearly all of her life in the vicinity of Medora.
