She was born June 14, 1879 in Arkansas.
She came to Oklahoma at the age of seven and has made her home in Garvin County since that time.
Mrs. McCarty was a member of the Church of Christ in Pauls Valley.
Survivors include two sons, Royal McCarty, Wynnewood and J.I. McCarty of Pauls Valley; two daughters, Mary Ethel Current of Pauls Valley and Jaunita Lovelace of Moore; 16 grandchildren and 50 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by son(s) Doyle McCarty (twin to Royal McCarty), Olley J. McCarty: daughters; Sylvia McCarty Potts and (Sylvia's twin) Golda Ann McCarty Potts.
