Be it Remembered that on the 4th day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty nine the last will and testament in writing of Richard P. Clarkson late of the County of Franklin in the State of Indiana,.................
The record of which said will follows in these words and figures:
I Richard P. Clarkson being of sane mind but feble in health conclude to wright my last will and testament as follows:
First I will my spirit to God and my body to the grave, and to my Beloved Wife all my Real and persinal property to her use and suport during her lifetime or as long as she remains my Widow and at her decease she may dispose of the Household and Cichen (sic) property as she may pleas, all but the Clock and one good bed and bedding wich shall belong to Joseph G. Clarkson. I also make the sd Joseph my Executor and at his mother's Deceas shall have the all of Real and persinal property for his use and benefit forever by his paying to each of the other children fifty Dollars each that is: Pamela George Fifield Lavina Dean Luame and Alexander and to my grandson R. P. Clarkson I give Rifle gun.
