Born August 20, 1914 in Granger, Utah, son of William Joseph and Ethel Hemenway Bertoch.

Married Helen Scheid, November 24, 1938, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Member of the Christ Lutheran Church.

Survived by wife; sons, Ronald and Judy; Gary and LaRee; Lynn and Connie; daughter, Mrs. Richard (Dona) Green; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; three brothers, Basil, James and Douglas; one sister, Mrs. Ray (Helen) Fredrickson.

In lieu of flowers family suggests contributions to Division of Radiation Oncology University of Utah, Health Services Center.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, 12 noon at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 So. Redwood Road, where friends may call one hour prior to services. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
