Mr. Foltz farmed in Hampshire County until 1933 when he moved to Berryville, VA, where he farmed until he retired. Upon retiring in 1947 he moved to Martinsburg.
He was a member of St. Luke's EUB Church and of the Adult Men's Class No. 27 in Martinsburg. His wife Della Dayton Foltz preceded him in death on September 9, 1967. Surviving are four sons, eight daughters, 14 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildrn and number of neices and nephews. A daughter, Miss Pearl W. foltz died in August 1938.
