LUELLA C. KEITHELY
---Luella Crist Keithley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Crist, was born at Enterprise, Missouri, March 2, 1873 and died at her home in Gifford January 25, 1927, being fifty-four years, three months and twenty-five days of age at her death.
---She was married to Nora E. Keithley of Browning November 1, 1905. To this union was born two children, Violet Mae and Hazel Vera Keithley, both at home. Besides her husband and two daughters, she leaves three step-sons, Clarence Keithley of Gifford, T.L. Keithley of La Crosse and Aldon Keithley and five grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Ida Simmons of Carrollton, Missouri, Miss Abbie Crist and Mrs. Edd Brantner of Colgeria, Colgeha, Canaday, besides other relatives and friends to mourn her loss.
---She made a profession of religion and united with the Methodist Church in her youth, remaining true to the faith thru out her entire life.
---She was bothered with heart trouble since last January and just dropped dead as she walked across the floor to take a dose of medicine.
---Services were conducted at the Gifford Christian Church June 27, at 2:00 by Rev. Underwood of Milan and was attended by a large concourse of sorrowing friends. The body was laid to rest in the Indian Hill cemetery.
---She was kind hearted and pure of character and all that knew her loved her which was especially made manifest during her death and funeral.
