Services are scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Monday at Moore Funeral Home chapel in Hattiesburg for Elsie Ruth McLellan, 72, of Hattiesburg, who died May 21, 1994, at Forrest General Hospital.
The Rev. Gary Shows will officiate. Interment will be in Providence Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Walter Edward Miller, Michael Alan Scott, Albert L. Turner, Stanley Alan Anderson Jr., Ramsey Jerome Mooney and William G. Elliott.
Mrs.. McLellan was a native of Georgetown, Miss., where she was valedictorian of her high school class. She had lived in Hattiesburg since 1953 and was a unit secretary at Forrest General Hospital for 15 years, retiring in 1984. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Walter H. McLellan of Hattiesburg; two daughters, Jessica Lutha Miller of Seminary and Bettie Ruth Elliott of Hattiesburg; two sisters, Geraldine McLellan of Hattiesburg and Maxine White of Jackson; and five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at Moore Funeral Home in Hattiesburg, which is in charge of arrangements.
