CRYSTAL SPRINGS - Funeral services for Hubert Webb Matthews, 30, of Route 1, Harrisville, will be held at Baldwin Chapel here at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Harmony cemetery.
He died at a McComb hospital Monday afternoon after a long illness He was a mechanic for a construction company and was a Baptist.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Estella Breeden Matthews; three sons, Jerry Hugh and Danny Matthews, one step-daughter, Glynda Steen and two step-sons, Michael and Jim Steen, all of Harrisville; his mother, Mrs. May Matthews, Harrisville; five sisters, Mrs. Helen Pittman, Pasadena, Calif., Mrs. Elsie McLellan and Mrs. Geraldine McLellan, both of Hattiesburg, Mrs. Maxine White, Jackson, Mrs. Alice Harper, San Antonio, Texas; one brother, Douglas Matthews, Harrisville.
