The deceased, son of the late Henry and Ellen Sculley Lilly, was born December 5, 1903 in Loudon Township. He was a member of the Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Lucille; son, Bill, Fort Carson, Colo., and Oren, Heidelburg, Germany; daughter, Mrs. W.J. (Delores) Meyer, Vandalia; step-children, Bob Phillips, Beecher City; Larry Phillips, Mattoon; Mrs. Bonnie Kemme, Beecher City; Mrs. Opal Baker, Effingham; and Mrs. Doris Peters, Largo, Florida; five brothers, Lee, Lemuel and Robert Lilly, Beecher City; Spurgeon Lilly, Macon; and Dewey Lilly, Taylorville; three sisters, Mrs. Josephine Long and Mrs. Kate Diveley, Tamalco, and Mrs. Rachel Jennings, Beecher City; six grandchildren and eight step-grandchildren.

The body is at Cook Funeral Home where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., with Rev. Lawrence Jones officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery, southwest of this city.
