Thomas was the second son of ten children born to Philip Findley McQuillan and Gladys Blanche Nichols.

Family Bible has young Thomas Paterson McQuillan dying at age 11 years, 7 months and 16 days as the result of a household accident at the family home in Sitka, Territory of Alaska on November 21, 1918." As a dependent son of a then active duty soldier, Thomas have been medivaced to Tacoma for treatment?

Notes written by my grandmother who noted that Thomas was buried in Tacoma, I have been unable to find any documented proof of his death, burial or birth.

Thomas, we are so sorry we are unable to find where you are buried. Have tried many times to find your Birth and Death Certificates. And always left empty handed. Still trying...

Thomas Paterson McQuillan is not at Calvary, Old Tacoma, New Tacoma, Oakwood Hill, Mountain View, or the Tacoma Mausoleum (at least as far as the respective records are concerned).

We are forever grateful to Chad Eugene Schneider for all his time and efforts to help us find Thomas. Thank you so much.
