CHARLES CLINTON ANDERSON WAS THE SON OF GEORGE WASHINGTON AND MARY CATHERINE SANDERS ANDERSON.

HE MARRIED MALINDA JANE COLLINS ON 20 DEC 1927 HAWKINS COUNTY, TENNESSEE. GOD BLESSED THIS MARRIAGE WITH THE FOLLOWING CHILDREN - WILLIE BLANCHE, MABLE LOUISE, BERTHA MYRTLE, MARTHA ELLA, MARY RUTH, CHARLES CLINTON "JUNE" JR, NELLIE VIVIAN, JOHN LEWIS, GEORGIA CREED AND REVA JEAN.

CHARLES CLINTON ANDERSON WAS THE SIBLING OF ELBERT ROBERT, SAMUEL HENDERSON, CORNIE KATE, ALICE VERDIE, MARY ELIZABETH, MARTHA HELEN AND MINA BLANCHE ANDERSON.

CHARLES CLINTON ANDERSON WAS THE MATERNAL UNCLE OF MY HUSBAND.

Charlie Anderson

Charlie C. Anderson, 59, 1302 Broad St. died in Holston Valley Community Hospital at 5:10 a.m. Saturday after a long illness.

Born in Hawkins County, he had lived in Kingsport six years and was employed as a paper finisher at the Mead Corporation for 26 years. He was a member of Bethel Community Church.

Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Jane Anderson; sons: Clinton Junior of Burlington, N. C., and John Anderson, Church Hill; daughters: Mrs. Willie Bass, Surgoinsville; Mrs. Mabel Leeper, Mrs. Bertha Botellio and Miss Nellie Anderson, all of Kingsport; Mrs. Reva Owens, Highpoint, N. C., Mrs. Ruth Everhart, Omaha, Nevada; a foster daughter, Miss. Linda Williams, Kingsport; sisters: Mrs. Cornie Ford, Kingsport; Mrs. Martha Anderson, Church Hill; Mrs. Alice Thacker and Mrs. Blanche Williams, Surgoinsville; a half sister, Mrs. Julie Calton, Surgoinsville; brothers: Sam and Ealie Anderson, Baltimore; 26 grand children and 1 great grandchild.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Bethel Community Church in Stanley Valley by Rev. W. R. Dillon and Rev. Joe Hickman. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

The body will be taken to the home at 10 a.m. today from Carter's Chapel Funeral Home.
