Colfax, La., April 28. -- Ninety-six direct descendants survive J. M. Plunkett, who died at Montgomery on April 23. The deceased had resided at Montgomery for 50 years. His descendants number 6 children, 35 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. He was a well-known member of the Methodist church.
