Mr Adams was a native of Kansas and had worked for Chapman Dewey Lumber Co in Kansas and Missouri before coming to Marked Tree, AR, in 1890 and then a few years later to the Etowah area.
He is survived by his wife: two sons, Bert and John, one daughter Mrs Daisey Camp, all of Etowah.
