Nan E. Jackson, 78, of West Mountain, died Tuesday, February 9, 1988 at the University of Utah Hospital of injuries suffered from a house fire.
She was born November 21, 1909 in Soldier, Idaho, the daughter of William Philo and Matilda Ann Goaslind Ellsworth. She married Alton Fredrick Jackson September 12, 1928 in Loa. He died August 19, 1929. She married John Henry Jackson Jr. on November 13, 1931 in Heber. He died May 5, 1945.
Survivors include two sons and five daughters: Mrs. Keith (Jean) Taylor; and Mrs. Donna Lake, both Payson; Richard H. Jackson, Orem; Mrs. Verl (Velma) Phillips, Eureka; Alton Lavon Jackson; Walla Walla, WA; Mrs. Gerald (Edith) Malcom, Salt Lake City; Mrs Richard (LaRee) Miner, Fullerton, CA; 39 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren; three stepchildren: Mrs. Raymond (LaPreal) Taylor, Murray; Arthur Jackson, Loa; Marjorie White, Klamath Falls, Oregon; three sisters and one brother: Mrs. Frances Perry, East Carbon; John Ellsworth, Vernal; Mary Spack, Detroit, Michigan; Florence Barney, Ouray. She was preceded in death by three grandchildren, four brothers and four sisters.
