Lillian G. Somerville, 82, Brainerd, died Thursday, March 23, 2000, at Woodland Good Samaritan Village of Brainerd.

She was born May 22, 1917, in Crow Wing County to Joseph and Lillie Mae (Glass) Avery. She was a nursing assistant in the public health field for many years.

Survivors include two sons, Gary Somerville, Frazee, and Robert Somerville, Monticello; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Levert Avery, Baxter, and Ralph Avery, Brainerd; two sisters, Ethel Satre and Gladys Gilson, both of Brainerd; a great-nephew, Jason Avery, Casper, Wyo.; and a special friend, Bob Elletson, Brainerd.

Four sisters and two brothers died earlier.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Riverside Union Church, Brainerd, with Pastor Harvey Peterson officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery of Brainerd.

Friends may call at Halvorson-Johnson Funeral Home of Brainerd from 4-8 p.m. Sunday and at the church an hour before services Monday.
