Born March 25, 1878, near Paxico, she lived in Dover and Maple Hill before moving to Topeka in 1922. She was a member of the Methodist church in Maple Hill. Her husband died Oct.9, 1946.
Survivors are four daughters, Mrs. John Williamson of Ireland, Mrs. Murrell Raines of Topeka, Mrs. Lois Rankin and Mrs. LaDema Cooper of California; two sons, Ralph and Cloice of Topeka; two sisters, Mrs. A.L. Lineburger of Harveyville and Mrs. Elmer Fitch of Springfield, MO; three brothers, Howard Weekes, John C. Weekes, and J.A. Weekes, all of Topeka; 34 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2p.m. Monday, Feb.20, at Eslinger Funeral Home with burial in Mount Hope cemetery.
