Death Claims A. J. Reiland

UNIONTOWN -- August J. Reiland, 70, Uniontown farmer, died Sunday at :11:20 a.m. at his home here.

He was born Oct. 26, 1892, at Petersburg, Neb., and came with his family to Uniontown in 1907. He lived at Cottonwood from 1916 to 1932 and has made his home here since.

He had never married.

He was a communicant of St. Boniface Catholic Church at Uniontown and a member of the Cottonwood Knights of Columbus council.

Surviving are a brother, John, Cottonwood, and three sisters, Mrs. Mike J. Fuchs, Tekoa, Wash., Mrs. Clarence Link, Boise, and Miss Frances Reiland, Uniontown.

Rosary will be recited Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church. Requiem mass will be celebrated at 10 Wednesday at the church. Celebrant will be the Rev. Fr. Alois Breznik. Burial will be at Uniontown Catholic Cemetery. The body may be viewed at Vassar-Rawls Chapel at Lewiston until 6:30 Tuesday night.
