Louis was the son of Henry and Mary Ackerman Rassi, born in Morton, Illinois on June 6, 1888. He moved to the Milford community in 1907. Mr. Rassi was united in marriage with Anna Schick in 1932 and worked as a farmer. He was a member of the Apostolic Christian church.

Mr. Rassi died Thursday, October 27, at his home near Milford. He was 89 years old. Mourners include his dear wife; three daughters, Mrs. Harold (LouAnn) Yeiter of New Paris, Mrs. Steve (Linda) Baumgartner of Milford, and Mrs. John (Mary Helen) Roser of Kendallville; one sister, Miss Matilda Rassi; and nine grandchildren.

Five sisters and nine brothers--Frank, Joe, Edward, George, Samuel, Eli, William, David, Henry, Anna, Mary, Lydia, and Emma--are deceased.
