Anna was the daughter of Henry & Mary Ackerman Rassi, born in late summer 1876. She was part of a huge family with eleven brothers and four sisters: John, Ed, George, Eli, Henry, William, Sam, Frank, Joe, Lewis, Dan, Emma, Lydia, Mary, and Matilda.

Anna married Daniel Getz on March 19, 1898. They had four sons and five daughters: Alvin, Jesse F., Willis, Lester, Lillian, Matilda, Esther, Mrs. Henry Beer, and Mrs. Harold Nofzinger. Mrs. Getz worshiped God at the Apostolic Christian church in Milford and met the Lord in person on Nov. 21, 1956, at the age of 80 years, 2 months and 15 days.
