Funeral services for Mary Lois Casey Lee, age 89, of Houston, were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, at the Madisonville Funeral Home. The Rev. Don F. Lee officiated. Burial followed at Willowhole Cemetery in North Zulch. Pallbearers were Wayne Coleman, Kenneth Coleman, James "Buddy" Casey, Dean Casey, Dick Campbell and Harold Olsen. Mrs. Lee was born on Aug. 22, 1918, in North Zulch to A.A. and Minnie (Bates) Casey and passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2007, in Houston. She lived most of her life in Houston and was a homemaker and a member of the Freewill Baptist Church in North Zulch. Mrs. Lee enjoyed reading. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Arthur L. Lee; brothers Albert Casey, James Elmer Casey and Ben Casey, and sisters Lola Black, Estelle Lindsey, Robbie Norwood and Gladys McNair. Lois is survived by her son, Stephen A. Lee of Houston; two sisters, Ruth Brady of Katy and Mavis Tanner of Rosenberg, and numerous nieces and nephews.
