MADISONVILLE — Services for Gladys McNair, 86, of North Zulch are set for 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Willowhole Chapel in North Zulch. The Rev. Dick White will officiate. Burial will be in the Willowhole Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m., at the Madisonville Funeral Home. Mrs. McNair died Saturday in the College Station Medical Center. She was born in North Zulch and formerly lived in Houston where she worked as a bookkeeper for a poultry company. She returned to Madison County and worked for J.R. Burtis Drug Store for eight years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Madisonville and was a member of the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph McNair. Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Connie Cohn of Huntsville and Kathy and John Mieseler of North Zulch; four sisters, Estelle Eastland of Victoria, Lois Lee of Houston, Mavis Tanner of Rosenberg and Ruth Brady of Katy; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
