Cabery-
Thomas F. Fenton, 73 of Cabery, died at 2:30 am Sunday at St. Mary's Hospital, Kankakee, following a one-week illness.
He was born Oct 3, 1909, in Joliet, to Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Fenton.
Before his retirement he farmed for many years in the Kempton area.
He was a member of Saint Joseph Church, Cabery.
He and his wife, the former Elsie Sheehan, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Oct. 3.
Survivors include his wife, one daughter, Sister Joan Barbara Fenton, O. P. of the Dominican Sisters, three sons, Thomas E. of Ames, Iowa, Paul E. of Hersher and Ronald L. of Kankakee, seven grandchildren: one brother, Donald of Pontiac: and two sisters, Bernice Ferris of Bradley and Dorothy Durchoiz of Ireland, Ind.
Three brothers and one sister are deceased.
Funeral mass was held at Saint Joseph Church in Cabery and burial is in the church cemetery.
