Died at 7:45 p.m. Thursday, April 7, 1983, at Lane Memorial Hospital, Zachary. He was 85, a native of Winn Parish, former resident of Lafayette and resident of St. Francisville. He was retired from the State Department of Highways, with over 21 years of service. He was a Navy veteran of World War I.

Visiting at Charlet Funeral Home, Zachary, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 10 a.m. until religious services at 2 p.m. Sunday, conducted by the Rev. Fred W. Salter Jr. Burial in Feliciana Cemetery, St. Francisville.

Survived by his wife, Emma Leet Worsham, St. Francisville; two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Gay) Baker, Winnfield, and Mrs. Melvin (Gloria) Dunn, El Dorado, Ark.; five sons, Charles R. Worsham, Cuero, Texas, Franklin D. [sic Frank R.] Worsham, Temple, Texas, John S. Worsham, Winnfield, Robert F. and Finos Worsham Jr., both of St. Francisville; a step-son, John R. "Pee Wee" Rollins, Jackson; 28 grandchildren.

Preceded in death by a sister, May W. Daron.
