DECATUR -Louise Jeanette Armstrong, 73, of Decatur died 12:35 a.m. Sunday (March 20, 1994) in St. Mary's Hospital.

Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday in Dawson & Wikoff West Wood Street Funeral Home with visitation noon Tuesday until service time. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery. Memorials: Woodland Chapel Presbyterian Church or VNA Hospice Program.

Mrs. Armstrong was born May 7, 1920, in Shelby County, daughter of Charles and Ruth Weakly Macklin.

She was a retired cashier for Illinois Power Co. after 32 years of service. She was member of Woodland Chapel Presbyterian Church and Guiding Light Chapter Order of the Eastern Star 1016. She married William F. Armstrong on July 4, 1938, in St. Charles, Mo.

Surviving are her husband; brother, Charles Robert Macklin of Apopka, Fla.; sisters, Eileen Cotner of Bethany; Mrs. Ralph (Clara) Smith of Decatur; Mrs. J.D. (Sharon) Holeman of Mount Zion; four nieces and three nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
