Mrs. Mary Ostrander
At the age of 82, Mrs. Mary Ostrander of the Town of Pine Grove died Thursday in St. Michael's Hospital. She entered the hospital as a patient Christmas Day. She had suffered a long illness previously.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Plainfield Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Plainfield Cemetery. Friends may call at the Goult Funeral Home in Plainfield.
She was born in Rozellville June 4, 1875, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Rozell. She had lived in Pine Grove most of her life.
Her marriage to Charles Ostrander took place May 11, 1896. Her husband preceded her in death several years ago.
Surviving are eight children. They are Roy Ostrander, Route 1, Stevens Point; John, 630 Rice St; Floyd, Fred, Mrs. Cora Smith and Mrs. Jennie Nigh, Bancroft; William, Lake Geneva; and Mrs. Bessie Niklas, Schofield. There are also grandchildren and two brothers, Jerry Rozell, Redgranite, and Michael Rozell, Beloit.
Two sons, Harold and Charles, preceded her in death.
