"Freddie Ostrander, 53, Rt.1, Plover, died at 7:05 a.m. Tuesday at St. Michael Hospital, Stevens Point, after a lingering illness. Mr. Ostrander was born Aug. 9, 1914, in Bancroft, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Ostrander. He married Lena Dittburner Nov. 19, 1942. Survivors include three brothers, John, Stevens Point, William, Springfield, and Floyd, Wisconsin Rapids, and three sisters, Mrs Bessie -Niklas, Milwaukee, Mr. Cora Smith, Portland, Ore., and Mrs. Jennie Nigh. Bancroft. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Goult- Patterson-Hardell Funeral Home, Plainfield, the Rev. man officiating, be in Plainfield Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. until the hour of services."
