David & Tennessee's youngest son, William J., age 19, was also a member of the family.

David & Tennessee, ages 75 & 65, lived with their son, Willie J. & his wife, Nellie, ages 29 & 23, in Roanoke Melrose Ward, Roanoke (Independent City), VA where they owned a home. They had 2 children, Edwin W. age 4 years & 7 months, & Willie J., 2 years & 7 months.
Willie was a salesman for Singer Sewing Machine, and Nellie worked as saleslady at a 5 and 10 cent store.

David died in Hawkins Co, TN, on May 4, 1920. Tennessee died on Feb. 12, 1932.
