PETER DAVID REITZ, 66, OF ANITA, IS DEAD
Peter David Reitz, 66, a well known resident of Anita the past 42 years, died suddently yesterday. Death was attributed to a heart attack.
The deceased was born in Coolspring April 4 (sic), the son of Peter D. and Catherine (Thomas) Reitz, and was united in marriage to Rose Geist in 1905. He had been employed as a miner. Mr. Reitz was a member of the Eagles Lodge here. He leaves his wife and three sons and daughters, Mrs. Glen Smith, of Buffalo, and Paul and Mervin Reitz and Mrs. Edward Hogan, of Anita. Also surviving are the following brothers and sisters: Frank Reitz, Rms. Ben Brosious and Mrs. Orrie Kerner, of Coolspring; Alfred, of Anita; Mrs. David Dinger, of Markton, and Mrs. Dorse Geist, of Wyandotte, Mich.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o`clock in the Pifer Funeral Home here. Burial will be in the K of P. Cemetery of Anita.

His mother Catherine (Thomas) Reitz that is mentioned in the obituary is his paternal grandmother's name.
