Louella Marie Tune (nee Stone), passed away peacefully in her home on July 11, 2020. She was 94 years old.  Louella was born on April 30, 1926 in Woodward, Oklahoma to Ollie Leroy Stone and Beatrice Pearl Edwards Stone. She was the second-eldest of nine children. The Stone family moved to California in 1942, and settled in Escalon, California. She spent the majority of her life in Escalon and Manteca.

Louella was a strong woman who was a single mother, breast cancer survivor, wife, grandmother, great- and great great- grandmother. She enjoyed camping and fishing with her late husband, Paul Tune, and made fantastic pies and fudge at Christmastime. She was an avid crocheter and made blankets for her family and friends. She loved teaching crochet to anyone who wanted to learn. 

Louella is preceded in death by her parents, her siblings, her husband, Paul Tune, and grandson, James Larkin II. She is survived by her daughters Eleta Noah (Richard), and Letitia Larkin (James). She is also survived by five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.

Deegan Funeral Chapel is honored to serve the Tune family. A viewing will be held Saturday, July 18, 2020 from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm.
