Services were held for long time Escalon resident, Dallas Lee Stone, 85 who passed away Saturday November 13 in Modesto after a short illness.
Dallas was born May 6, 1925 in Woodward Oklahoma to Ollie Stone and Beatrice Edwards Stone.
Mr. Stone came to California in 1944 with his family and purchased property on South Sexton Road where he farmed for many years.
Dallas was a member of the Church of Christ church on River Road. He enjoyed putting puzzles together, raising rabbits and farming.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his siblings, Jewell Gray, Rufus, Don and James Stone. He is survived by siblings, Louella Tune of Escalon, Norman Stone of Manteca, George Stone of Newman, John Stone of Redding and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and dear friends Peter and Evelyn Martini and Pete Martini.
Memorial contribution can be made to a charity of ones choice.
Services were held at Burwood Cemetery on Thursday, November 18, 2010.
