Dixie L. Alexander, 63, of 4 N. Rice, Phillips, died at 5:40 a.m. today in North Plains Hospital.
Services are pending with Alexander-Simpson Funeral Directors.
Mrs. Alexander was reared in Burkburnett and attended North Texas State University in Denton. She came to Borger in 1937 and was an employee of Phillips Petroleum Co. as a Telephone Teletype Operator at the Communications Center in Phillips for 30 years.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Phillips, Jane Phillips Sorority, and Esther Sunday School Class.
She married Ed Alexander Aug. 18, 1938. He died in January of 1960.
Survivors include two sons, Drew of Borger and Lynn of Lubbock; two sisters, Mrs. Mabel Dobkins of Borger and Mrs. Ada Mae Pierson of Austin; three grandchildren and six nieces and nephews.
